UPDATE

Since publishing this family memoir, I've received some encouraging messages of appreciation and also some criticism, an extract of which I will soon add to this site. I wish to thank everyone who wrote me for their comments and must take this occasion to state that the memoir is, of course, based on my memories and what I remember my parents telling me, and therefore is not necessarily "true", though there was no intention of criticizing or offending anyone who is mentioned (or not). I also hope to be able to add additional stories soon... Marian Farago
